Usage Of "中间"

This is my first post here. I am now at the end of my first year of Chinese at a Spanish "escuela oficial de idiomas". Our very last topic is about locating a point in space.

Now, this is so far the most difficult topic I have found in the whole year, and I am having some trouble with it.

So, if I wanted to say, for instance, "The bed is between the door and the window", would it correct to say

床 在 门口 和 窗口 的 中间 ? (chuang2 zai4 men2kou3 he2 chuang1kou3 zhong1jian2)

I know it is a pretty simple question, but I am quite confused about this.

and also you may say like this

床 在 门 和 窗户 的 中间 ? (chuang2 zai4 men2 he2 chuang1hu4 de1 zhong1jian2)

Sounds more comfortable and more mandarin

Try not to put spaces between particles, otherwise, it would look like you are analyzing it, and not really speaking or writing.

What you wrote is okay.

It could also be simplified to "床在门窗之间".

Corrected:

床在门户和窗户的中间? (chuang2 zai4 men2hu4 he2 chuang1hu4 de1 zhong1jian2)

If there's a 户 after either 门 or 窗, 户 must be after the other one too. Same with 门口 & 窗口.
