anonymoose Posted May 23, 2010 at 07:20 AM Report Posted May 23, 2010 at 07:20 AM I know 来着 can be put at the end of a question to mean "again", as in 你叫什么名字来着? What's your name again? In other words, used to ask something again that you have already been told before. But I came across this sentence in a news article, and 来着 seems to have a different usage here: 民警分析认为,蒋某的说法疑点重重:他为什么不自己报警,而要让房东帮忙,何苦来着? What is the meaning or implication of 来着 in this sentence?
