tooironic Posted May 26, 2010 at 09:06 AM Report Posted May 26, 2010 at 09:06 AM I watched this report on ABC the other day, and thought it quite interesting. You can watch it for free here: http://www.abc.net.au/foreign/content/2010/s2903061.htm Australia has apparently come through the global financial crisis remarkably unscathed compared to the rest of the world – for now. In large part, that's for reasons that have less to do with economic management than the bounties of nature. Australia is China's quarry, and as that nation industrialises at a cracking pace, our raw materials have ensured the money and the good times keep on flowing. But what happens if China sneezes? Australia will catch more than a cold. Quote
