Comparison of Chinese and US TV Commercials

Hello everyone! I’m a graduate student in China, majored in Advertising. Now I’m writing my essay which is about a comparison between Chinese and American TV commercials. I really appreciate it if any Native American friends can contact me and offer me some help! (no major limitation, if you are an American older than 20, then you are the person I am looking for  )

You can tell me anything about your feelings and what’s on your mind after watching them, and give me your comments on the text, the dialogue, the actor, the background, and anything else.

many thanks!

There are two Chinese Commercials: 古汉养生精(a kind of Chinese medicine healthy product)and 皇朝家私(a brand of furniture)

the English translation of stage lines

古汉养生精:

I earned my first wage in 1986.

my son has gained his first scholarship this spring festival,

Guhan yangshengjing, pass on true affection between generations

皇朝家私:

I have gradually found a feeling of placidness and sureness.

He loves me, and I love him.

Huangchao Furniture, my home.

As a comparison, there are also two American Commercials: dyson balls and citracal. The links:

Are you sure you're looking only for Native Americans? That word's generally used to refer to the indigenous peoples of the Americas, particularly the United States. I don't think we've got many on here, although I could be mistaken :)

thans Daan.

I am now focus on differences between Chinese and American Culture, so I just meant the one who has grown up in American, not immigrants ,cause immigrant may be influenced by different cultures.

have I made some mistakes? so how to say that? tks~!

Well, Native Americans is generally used to refer to indigenous peoples, not native-born American citizens. If the latter is what you meant, and from your message I guess that's the case, you might want to use native-born Americans instead :) At any rate, I'm Dutch, so I'm afraid I won't be able to help you out with your survey. But good luck!
