I'm translating a text about the great wall, but I'm having some troubles with a few patters. This one is making me waste a lot of time:

接连不断的城墙。

How would you translate this? I want to understand, not only translate.

Thanks ;)

Edit: Forget this part. I only realized now that bu and duan are supposed to be together. Nevertheless I'm sure I'll have more doubts.

接连不断的城墙

接连 in succession

不断 uninterrupted

接连不断 is an idiom, meaning the same thing.

城墙 city wall

figuratively, "continuous city wall."
