This Weeks "essay"

Would anyone mind checking my "essay" for this week? Mostly just to see if the characters are correct, if the words are appropriate (as always, i looked up ones i didn't know in a translator, so i might have used the trad characters on accident), and there may be a few (hopefully 0) sentence structure errors also. Also, any tips on how to make it more authentic would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Nice essay! A few things I (not a native speaker, so use at own risk) found:

还迎 --> 欢迎

烹饪 is not very commonly used; 做饭 is much more frequent in daily usage.

他要住在我的房间住九个月。 I think you need to get rid of the first 住 in this sentence.

Oh, and San Francisco has a beautiful name in Chinese, 旧金山.

By the way, Can I 顺便 ask a question about the use of the phrase 'on accident' here? I've noticed that it's becoming very common among the younger generation in the states to use 'on accident' instead of 'by accident'. Is 'on accident' considered grammatically correct? How common is this phrase used in the UK and Australia?

I will give you limited advice if it is what you want.

As the others pointed out 圣弗朗西斯科 should have been 舊金山. It is also very commonly know as 三藩市.

PS - 鸡爪 is very commonly called 鳳爪.
