Does anyone know any good book-shop online, where you can buy chinese study material and/or nonfiction litterature (preferably in engllish) except for Amazon.com?? I could need some books and tapes after finishing my current ones. Therewith, I'm writing an assay on chinese, mostly concerning the writing system and if it will ever be abolished, and the possibility that chinese will be the dominant language on earth one day.. know any adequate websites?? I would be most greatful..

Cheng & Tsui also has a good selection of study materials. I've been pretty impressed with them!

There are some books I'd really like to order from BLCUP, but payment seems to be too much of a pain in the ass. They don't take credit cards. If you order from within the mainland, you can do pay through post. I live in HK, though, so the only way to pay is to wire them payment in US$. Does anybody know of any online bookstores that sell BLCU books and take credit cards? BLCUP seems to have spent a bit of money to set up their online store. I can't fathom why they wouldn't take credit cards.
