kptan Posted June 6, 2010 at 08:44 AM Report Posted June 6, 2010 at 08:44 AM I am thinking about taking a year off between high school and college to study at BLCU. I was wondering what the average age of people taking the semester course is? Will there be many people my age (18) or are students generally older? Quote
ckc_ucl Posted June 7, 2010 at 08:25 AM Report Posted June 7, 2010 at 08:25 AM No need to worry, you will be in the majority! Most students on the language courses are on a gap year between high school and college. The student body at BLCU is very international. And, whether it is what you are seeking or not, the 'party school' reputation is well-deserved too! Quote
dali3927 Posted June 7, 2010 at 10:06 AM Report Posted June 7, 2010 at 10:06 AM my experience, most of language students I know, they are a little bit older than you, majority is from 20-30 years old, there will be students like your age and some people you can hang out with. Quote
greenarcher Posted June 7, 2010 at 12:42 PM Report Posted June 7, 2010 at 12:42 PM There a good number of 18-19 year olds in BLCU. There are also some who are over 30 and over 40. My classmate is 60+. Majority is 20-25. Quote
