manihiki Posted June 9, 2010 at 04:25 PM Report Posted June 9, 2010 at 04:25 PM Hi, what're people's thoughts on the best school for short-term group classes in Beijing? My ideal program would be: - In or near Haidian - Around 15-30 hours/week M-F - Allow students to take 2 weeks of class (so very short time periods) with flexible start dates - Offer small group classes I've looked at CLE, 1on1, That's Mandarin, and Capital Mandarin, and they all seem like they might fit the bill, but I'm not sure about pros and cons between them. Thanks! Quote
manihiki Posted June 10, 2010 at 08:09 PM Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 at 08:09 PM another one i'm looking at, that seems to be cheap & popular, is Diqiucun (Global Village), but I'm not sure about the teaching quality and methods there. I'm hoping to gain conversation/speaking skill mostly, but I think they may emphasize reading/writing Quote
tmDan Posted June 14, 2010 at 03:34 AM Report Posted June 14, 2010 at 03:34 AM Hey - I'm from That's Mandarin - seems like you have check out our school. All I can say is it's obviously tricky to know which school is best for you. Because of this we offer potential students a free trial class - if you are in Beijing you can come visit us for the trial, if you are currently abroad you can do it by Skype - just email me and I can help you get it set up. Like I say no strings attached, but at least you can try it out with us before deciding what you what to do. Quote
