A friend of mine talked to me about a Chinese course called "Modern Chinese: Beginner's Course" (初级汉语课本), published by Sinolingua and Beijing Language and Culture University. I have very little information about these books and so does my friend. I read something about it in http://www.chinesemall.com/modchinbegco.html , but I'd like to know more. Did anyone here use this coursebook?
