Nina Posted September 22, 2004 at 12:18 AM Report Posted September 22, 2004 at 12:18 AM A friend of mine here in the United States wants to say thank you to three Chinese gentlemen who have been very helpful to her recently. One of them is her TCM practitioner who treats her with acupuncture. The second man is her Chinese language teacher. The third man is her Tai Chi instructor. She is a middle-aged married woman, and she wants to find an appropriate method of thanking these men - more than just giving them compliments on a job well done. Can anyone help us? Thank you- Nina Quote
xuechengfeng Posted September 22, 2004 at 01:43 AM Report Posted September 22, 2004 at 01:43 AM I suppose it would depend on what each of the 3 people did for her? Quote
xiaomawang Posted September 22, 2004 at 04:38 AM Report Posted September 22, 2004 at 04:38 AM 'One of them is her TCM practitioner who treats her with acupuncture.' A mirror could be hanged on someshere his/her clinic with Chinese '妙手回春' / '仁心仁術', etc. It doesn't matter is s/he has already had one. 'The second man is her Chinese language teacher.' A new briefcase as teachers always has to carry books/notes... 'The third man is her Tai Chi instructor.' A new set of KongFu cloth, a yellow one which can make him outstanding. Quote
