Online Marketing Salaries in China

Dear all,

I have an offer from one of Chinese company based in Shenzhen. I have more than 7+ years of experience in Online.Web marketing. I would like to know your suggestion what should be the salary i should accept on my profile.

And also guide me usually what's the basic salary in China for Marketing peoples with 7+ years of experience?

Please guide me from your suggestions and experience.

Web marketing is a broad subject. If I was recruiting I would be looking for more information than just seven years experience including, graduate level and subject, managerial level experience, strategic resonsibility, language ability (eg. fluent written Chinese for web content), people management experience, previous applicable experience in China and other countries.

thank you for your reply. yes web marketing is wide term lets say i want to have general idea, i dont have skills in Chinese but i have extensive experience of more than 7+ in web marketing, besides that yes i have management experience in project management which includes work force.

I want to have general idea? How much the salary should be?

Without more information, it is not possible to give more than an approximation: 1000-4000 Euros a month for a local contract(non graduate with specific experience at lower management level up to Master degree level with applicable international experience at fairly senior level). This is based on my observations of colleagues in Beijing but working for foreign companies. If you havent got a degree it will be difficult to justify a suitable salary is my feeling. Perhaps other people can comment on this.

And what is a degree in Masters? You're being very vague and trickle feeding people with info when they try to help. I suggest you do some basic research with other people in your field before asking salary questions in a language forum.

You say you don't speak Chinese and I have to assume English isn't your first language. So we also need some background on you, as well as a more accurate job description and your job history.

I don't know adrianlondon what particular info you require? I would love to provide any particular info yoou need. Like i said i have masters degree in Business besides 7+ years of experience in online marketing. When i am saying online marketing means everything comes into it like SEO, SEM, PPC, Affiliate etc...
