tattoo thoughts

Hey guys i wanted to get a tattoo that read 世上只有媽媽好 after the famous children's song, however i wanted to change the 媽媽 part to 爸媽 to reflect both my parents so it reads 世上只有爸媽好. I was wondering if you guys could give me feedback. Would it be considered kind of weird or is it a good idea. Thanks

Well, I'm not a native Chinese speaker, but I think it would be weird.

People have had worse tattoos done, but I think if you want to show appreciation to your parents, there are better ways of doing it than getting a tattoo.

Meh. If you're going to do it (don't) then something like 孝 would make more sense I think.

It's ok, but too long, unless you don't mind the pain. And don't show it to your (future) spouse/partner ...

Well,I am a Chinese native speaker.In my opinion,both "世上只有妈妈好"and "世上只有爸妈好" are so childish.

So to the native chinese speakers, could you recommend a good phrase that would show love and respect for my parents? Although i do like 孝 i would like a phase (maybe a famous proverb or saying). Thanks guys

"孝" is really good ,if you want to get a phrase to express your emotion i prefer to "父严母慈＂．
