What does it mean ?

My friend has a tatoo that he doesn't know what it means and I was curious also to know what it means.

Difficult angle for viewing. I would guess it's either an unusual and "creative" font or it isn't chinese with leaning toward the latter. The shape of the "stokes" makes it looks a little "gothic" to me. Maybe a more direct, front-on view would make it clearer. Or someone else will know right off.

How did you friend "choose" this? What were the circumstances? Has he any clues about it? Just picked from a random list or chart?

Well... He made it for his girlfriend Andreea , and he told her that the tatoo means Andreea . But when I asked him he told me he has no ideea what it ment , he just chose it from a list. My guess is that those aren't even in a language, maybe I'm wrong I don't know .

If these are Chinese characters, then they are written so badly that I can't make any sense of it. I suspect that they are not.
