Ian_Lee Posted September 30, 2004 at 09:58 PM Report Posted September 30, 2004 at 09:58 PM Why has coffee needed to come into conflict with tea? They can co-exist. For breakfast, I grind the 100% Kona coffee bean fresh and brew two cups. After dinner, I use the "purple sand" tea pot set to fix five rounds of "Lu An" @ US$30/4 taels or "Iron Buddha" @ US$22/4 taels. Anyone can be a bi-drinker of coffee and tea. Quote
madizi Posted September 30, 2004 at 10:01 PM Report Posted September 30, 2004 at 10:01 PM Agree! I drink coffee in the morning and during the day drink green tea (longjing or gaoshan). Quote
roddy Posted October 1, 2004 at 01:40 AM Report Posted October 1, 2004 at 01:40 AM I can't get the image of taxi-drivers slurping low-fat latte's with a shot of vanilla and a sprinkling of almonds out of their jamjars at traffic lights. Maybe they'll start pulling over and rushing into Starbucks for refills instead of into 小卖部's for cigarettes Roddy Quote
