peterlkj Posted July 12, 2010 at 04:40 PM Report Posted July 12, 2010 at 04:40 PM Dear HSK experts - I'm a little baffled by the new HSK and the multiplicity of exams! Are there really 6 different exams to choose from - and then it's pretty much pass/fail based on the exam you choose? Why oh why haven't 汉办 updated their hsk.org.cn website (even the Chinese one) for over a year?? Finally, and less whiningly - does anyone have any info about the writing requirements for the new HSK tests? Thanks in advance. PS In case you didn't think 汉办 were incompetent enough already - they lost my 初中 exam script after I took the exam three years ago!!! Quote
BertR Posted July 12, 2010 at 04:44 PM Report Posted July 12, 2010 at 04:44 PM Yes, there are 6 exams. You shouldn't look at hsk.org.cn This website is outdated and still refers to the old exams. http://www.chinesetesting.cn/index.do is the new official website  . Please take look at the example exams at http://www.confuciusinstitute.qut.edu.au/study/proficiency.jsp There is a word list at the end of every example exam. 1 Quote
