knadolny Posted July 14, 2010 at 04:09 AM Report Posted July 14, 2010 at 04:09 AM I am not sure about this website you are talking about. However, I order from the US Amazon from Japan and they ship directly to me. My favorite website to buy books now that I live abroad is from the Book Depository. Their prices are higher but they give free shipping anywhere in the world. http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ Can you not order from these websites if you live in China? Cheers, Kevin Quote
gato Posted July 14, 2010 at 04:54 AM Report Posted July 14, 2010 at 04:54 AM Amazon.com can ship directly to China. You don't need to go through an agent. But why do you want to buy Chinese textbooks from amazon.com if you are China. Don't you have a lot of much cheaper choices in China? Quote
New Members yellowsun Posted July 14, 2010 at 05:02 AM Author New Members Report Posted July 14, 2010 at 05:02 AM Thanks but i am looking for the same books as I had at university. Someone told me about Borderlinx.com it looks really cool I will order on this one and tell you! thanks anyway ;) Oh and on Amazon not every agent agree to ship products to china. Quote
roddy Posted July 14, 2010 at 08:09 AM Report Posted July 14, 2010 at 08:09 AM Would be daft to use them for something as simple as textbooks, I think - just order them directly from Amazon or some other bookseller. Quote
bug-me-not Posted July 24, 2010 at 09:09 AM Report Posted July 24, 2010 at 09:09 AM you can use borderlinx.com but it's horribly expensive. you can use any mail forwarding service, I think one of the cheapest might be http://www.shipito.com . you get your order shipped to a US address and they mail it to you. you can calculate shiping cost here: https://www.inccontact.com/client/shipito/shipping_calculator.php?id_lang=eng Quote
New Members yellowsun Posted September 17, 2010 at 01:57 AM Author New Members Report Posted September 17, 2010 at 01:57 AM Hi Bug-me-not Thanks for your advice, but my friends told me not to use the website you recommend shipito.com I finally choose Borderlinx and it was really cheap! They also have a cost calculator and in one week I got everything I wanted from the US. Quote
