Sorry to bother you all, ive been thinking about getting a tatoo for a while, i know what i want but can someone please confirm what this says in english?

It doesn't really say anything, it looks like a transliteration.

The characters mean: mugwort rice jasmine - triumph.

However, it's pretty obviously a transliteration of the name Emily and a character representing a surname beginning with K. If you read it phonetically, it reads as Aimili - Kai (in Mandarin).

The characters are all commonly used in names, both native Chinese names as well as in transcriptions of foreign names.

Its a translation of my daughters name "Emily-Kay" I have wanted her name in chinese as a tatoo for a long time but I have always worried about the honesty of the translations the internet provides, as i dont speek or read a word of chinese i wouldnt know if any translation would be genuain, it could be anything as far as i would know. anyway i can now understand my daughters name so theres a start and chinese is such a beautifully written language hence my choice of language :)

skylee's is the "real", full Chinese, but 2006年11月17日 is also commonly used. Just offering options.
