missbrokensmile Posted July 22, 2010 at 10:03 AM Report Posted July 22, 2010 at 10:03 AM Hopefully I'm posting in the right area... Anyway, I'm looking to find Japanese stationery - specifically brands like: Campus, Maruman, etc I've seen a lot of Chinese friends (and Japanese friends) have these sorts of notebooks and I love how well made it is... haha. In Australia, there are a few stores that sell this sort of stationery, but it's quite expensive. Anyway, what I'm asking is if any stores in China sell this sort of stationery? Is there a website? If they do sell this sort of stuff, is it cheap (or at least, a decent price)? If there are any stores in Guangzhou, let me know, otherwise a website will do http://www.kokuyo-st.co.jp/stationery/campus/ http://www.e-maruman.co.jp/index.html Quote
dumdumdum Posted July 22, 2010 at 02:34 PM Report Posted July 22, 2010 at 02:34 PM i think you can get these from japanese malls in chinese cities, such as SOGO. maruman is less common thou, it's a little more expensive than other popular brands. 1 Quote
Flying Pigeon Posted July 23, 2010 at 01:52 AM Report Posted July 23, 2010 at 01:52 AM Hi MBS, I was recently in Guangzhou. There is a big mall at the Guangzhou East train station. Seemed to be quite a few Japanese stores; UNIQLO, JUSCO, etc. You might be able to find what you're looking for there. Good luck. Quote
natra Posted July 23, 2010 at 02:27 AM Report Posted July 23, 2010 at 02:27 AM The Japanese malls always have the best office supplies and stationary. *drool* (Ishidan) Quote
dumdumdum Posted July 23, 2010 at 08:15 AM Report Posted July 23, 2010 at 08:15 AM uniclo sells clothings not stationaries... :o another one would be muji, but i have no idea whether they are in china in the first place. Quote
Flying Pigeon Posted July 23, 2010 at 01:24 PM Report Posted July 23, 2010 at 01:24 PM Posted Today, 04:15 PMuniclo sells clothings not stationaries... Um, yeah, thanks for the tip. What I was leaning towards was "lots of Japanese stores" and "Japanese business presence". Good thing I didn't mention the Japanese bakeries or sushi shops. So between the sashimi and plaid bermuda shorts you just might find a Japanese stationery shop. Quote
xiaocai Posted July 25, 2010 at 04:38 PM Report Posted July 25, 2010 at 04:38 PM How about eBay? Or you can have a try of Taobao if you read Chinese. Quote
