[Flying Pigeon]

Not a side project of Beijing's RandomK(e), but something I've been noticing while listening to Second Hand Rose. Sounds like the singer is throwing in some random 的s, usually in the middle of a word.

Here are a few lines from the song "因为所以" (as printed on their website):

" . . . 我花枝招展

因为那个快乐 我疯疯癫癫".

This is what I hear:

" . . . 我花枝(de)招展

因为那个快乐 俺疯疯(de)癫癫".

Any particular reason? Is it to keep "de" beat?

I guess they do it just to keep the rhythm. You can find this in some Chinese poems as well.
