rcloud19 Posted August 3, 2010 at 06:45 PM Report Posted August 3, 2010 at 06:45 PM I'm looking for recommendations on a short-term intensive Mandarin language program (1-3 months). Location isn't a big deal so it can be anywhere in China. What I'm looking for is as intensive a program as possible with small class sizes and/or 1 on 1 tutoring. If accommodations are communal, a language pledge would be ideal as I'd like to have as full of an immersion environment as possible. Does anyone have any recommendations for any programs that fit or come close to what I'm looking for? Thanks in advance! Quote
Duncan Leung Posted August 4, 2010 at 07:04 AM Report Posted August 4, 2010 at 07:04 AM Hey rcloud19, You can check out 1on1 Mandarin, which is where I'm taking my Chinese courses at the moment (located in Beijing, WuDaoKou). The program is basically one-on-one Chinese classes/tutoring- they do have the option for you to take small-groups classes too but I don't have any experience with that. They also can help you find housing, but I was already living in an apartment when I started my classes so you'll have to drop them a line to get more information on that. Feel free to ask if you have more questions. Quote
