Quick Translation

Hi all,

I have a friend who's setting up a company and needs a quick blurb translated. Set up costs are an issues, hence not using a professional trasnlator. Any help provided would be appreciated.

I've already asked on the forums and think that the name is probably going to be transliterated to 可紙礼. Also, I think "Daphne Papyracea" is 白瑞香 but I'm not sure how that would effect the traslation of Lokta.

Kenny, to answer your question about "Promotes Woman Co-operatives and local communities," it's a small cottage industry where the products are made in villages where the Lokta is harvested and paper products are made.

After a second thought, I decide to use 生态友好. Although 生态友好 and 环保 are synonymous, the emphasis is different. 生态友好 underscores the ecology while 环保 the environment.

生态友好 for “eco-friendly” is okay, but I always prefer the shorter.

The whole text, IMHO, has too much overlap. Besides what I said in my last post, the last sentence of the first paragraph and the last entry of “Key facts” also overlap. Additionally, “Tree Free” should have been “Tree-free”, it seems. You might want to add more information about the paper, e.g. how’s its texture? What’s the feel about it?

If you want to use 生态, you need to say 生态友好（型）, since 生态 merely means ecology or ecological.
