madizi Posted September 30, 2004 at 08:22 PM Report Posted September 30, 2004 at 08:22 PM There are tons of online materials for beginner Chinese. But I'm on intermediate level (more or less ) and would like to find intermediate and advanced free materials and tools for learning Chinese. Are there any? I'm specially interested in speaking and listening, although would also like to improve reading and writing skills, vocabulary and grammar. Thank you in advance. Quote

madizi Posted October 9, 2004 at 08:29 PM Author Report Posted October 9, 2004 at 08:29 PM Does this silence mean that there aren't ANY resources on internet for intermediate and advance level? Something else? Quote
geraldc Posted October 9, 2004 at 11:19 PM Report Posted October 9, 2004 at 11:19 PM If you're at advanced level, I think you just read normal Chinese webpages, rather than look for webpages geared towards learning Chinese. Quote
madizi Posted October 10, 2004 at 12:54 AM Author Report Posted October 10, 2004 at 12:54 AM I am at intermediate level (don't know if it is lower or upper intermediate level). As I indicated above, I am looking for internet resources for speaking and listening. There are many resources for beginners, but (as I know) no resources for intermediate level. Quote
1/2_azn Posted October 14, 2004 at 11:35 PM Report Posted October 14, 2004 at 11:35 PM this may be too basic for you, but you can try http://en.chinabroadcast.cn/ check out the radio section, especially "learn chinese now", some of the more advanced lessons may be helpful.. or just listen to Chinese broadcasts and use sites created for chinese speakers like geraldc said Quote
madizi Posted October 17, 2004 at 03:20 PM Author Report Posted October 17, 2004 at 03:20 PM Thanks for link. You're right, it is too basic for me. I listened to lession 66 and it was about days in a week. Sometimes I watch CCTV 4 via Internet, but they speak too quick. Is there any listening tool or site where speaker is speaking a little bit slower, but on intermediate (or advanced) level? Quote

Here is a link with almost everything worth seeing in Slovenia: www.burger.si On the first page you just have to click a title "Utrinki iz Slovenije Slovenia Landmarks" and then choose with pull-down menus what kind of places do you want to see (castles, caves, towns,......). Hope you'll like my country! Quote

We are now in beginning phase of searching all kind materials connected with our work (other textbooks, terminology, useful phrases,...). Does someone know any useful textbooks in English, German or Chinese? Are there any useful internet resources for this? Thank you in advance! Quote
Rumer Posted January 11, 2005 at 09:57 AM Report Posted January 11, 2005 at 09:57 AM Hello, First post from a newcomer. Could anyone point me to a link where it is possible to download the audio for CRI's Learn Chinese Now? It would be really useful to be able to put the m on a portable device, or even on a CD so I could listen to them in the car. On their website I find that I can listen to the files, but I have not been able to download them or save them to disk. Thank you. Quote
