Looking for an old thread about classical Chinese

Sorry, this is a pretty obscure question. A while back I found an old thread (I think it was in the Quick Translations forum, but it might have been in one of the others) about a translation of a passage in classical Chinese. The passage was basically about a woman inviting a guy to sleep with her, but it took everyone a while to work this out because she was expressing herself in such a hyper-polite way (something like "Would you mind if I spent some time with you?"). I've searched and searched and can't find it, but someone who participated in the original discussion - or who's extremely literate - might know what I'm thinking of.

Sorry to be so vague.

Don't remember the discussion, but just wondering it was from 金瓶梅 by any chance?

I think Skylee might have been the one who finally worked out what the thing was getting at.

I'll have a look through 金瓶梅 and see if I can track it down.

Oh, it's one of the topics Skylee posted in? That narrows it right down :P

Send her a PM, she might remember.
