Hopefully someone can give me the simplified characters for the following text. It is for a gift, and I would really like to write it out in chinese. Your help is most appreciated.

Arms around me with all her might

Her warm kiss met with delight

Our eyes see into the night

I think you may have under-estimated how hard it is to translate poetry, especially if you want it to sound elegant. I mean, I could potentially do a literal translation of the words in your poem. That way it might convey the same meaning, but it would not rhyme or have any meter...

Anyway here it goes:

From across the world they pull me tight

从世界对面他们把我拥抱

Arms around me with all her might

她臂膀竭力围着我

Her warm kiss met with delight

她温暖的吻碰到乐趣

Our eyes see into the night

我们眼睛看着夜空

I think this poem can be translate into:

在那遥远的地方，也感到你无尽的拥抱。

吻着你温暖的唇，就像来到了你的身旁。

I realize that you are correct. I have been studying Chinese and poetry for about 1 year now. Actually, I have found that writing/copying Chinese poetry is a good way to enjoy writing characters. I have been told, however, that the translated poems are not nearly as beautiful or meaningful as they are in their original form. So my goal is to someday read these poems, and understand them in Chinese.
