I often hear both 在今天的节目中and 在今天的节目里。 Are both uses correct or is one perhaps regional?

I think the latter sounds a bit more colloquial, although I don't think it really matters which one you use.

Both are correct and popular, no regional differences. The choice merely depends on one’s preference.

If you can work in a pause at the end of the utterance you've maybe got an excuse for a great big sweeping third tone, all the way down and right back up the other side. And then another one later when you announce the 开始。

They are the same to me in terms of rhythem.
