CCB ATM's

So, I made a trip to the CCB ATM today just outside of the BNU east gate, and either the ATM is broken there or is it a bank holiday. I'm in need of some cash and if anyone knows where another close by ATM is that would be great. Also, if anyone has a website that has a list of the CCB ATMs in Beijing on it that would be great too.

I'm pretty sure there's one at the 枫蓝国际 shopping center, not too far a walk from you - head down to 今典花园 and turn right. Or just get onto ditu.google.com and look for 北京 建设银行

Although in my experience, waiting ten minutes or trying the other ATM right next to it often work.

This (Chinese only) is a list of all CCB branches/ATMs in Haidian. You can change the search parameters at the top for other cities or banks, too.

May I suggest another approach?

It is not that you can only withdraw from your bank's ATM.

If you are urgent for money, you needn't go to only CCB's ATM.

You can see "中国银联" and "UnionPay" on your debit card. UnionPay is an organization just like VISA and Master.

The fact is that all cards imprinted with UnionPay Logo can withdraw money from any bank's ATM so long as the bank joined China UnionPay. It seems that all Chinese commercial banks we can see in streets have joined this organization. Need to remind that you would pay a fee if you withdraw money from a different bank's ATM, but not too much, 1 yuan or 2 depends on the bank you use

Im withdraw from my bank of america account, and CCB is their partner so....free transactions

Well, not so free now, hmm? I hope you aren't in China for a long time, since the RMB is about to go stronger against the US Dollar - the plan of using the American banks is rather silly, given that you are just grabbing at a fluctuating bankrate that is rigged against you.

Still though, there should be enough branches around. I believe there is an ATM inside BLCU if that is of any help, though I guarantee there is a closer ATM somewhere.
