Any accurate translations about how the Chinese express this concept?

I've tried to piece together a translation, but the concept doesn't seem to translate well.

Ideas?

Consider 無可救藥的浪漫 / 無可救藥地浪漫 / 無可救藥地浪漫的人.

I heard someone use this description the other day. In a Tiffany, a guy said (in English) to the saleslady that his girlfriend was hopelessly romantic.

PS - it was ok I guess, as he was buying her some jewellery ...
