Guest realmayo Posted August 30, 2010 at 02:11 AM Report Posted August 30, 2010 at 02:11 AM Are there Chinese dictionaries out there that note when a word, or its various usages, were first used? Like what the Oxford English Dictionary does? I ask because I often bump into words which seem very similar to English (eg 人力、笑料、etc etc) and would like to know if it's just a coincidence, or if these words were consciously taken from English, and if so, at what time.
