New Members Turk Posted August 31, 2010 at 09:13 PM New Members Report Posted August 31, 2010 at 09:13 PM Hi, Can anyone help me out? I'm writing a letter and want to add the phrase "I look forward to talking to you" in Chinese. What is the most formal way to say this in a letter? Thanks. Quote
New Members Daphnie Posted September 1, 2010 at 07:37 AM New Members Report Posted September 1, 2010 at 07:37 AM Are you writing to your friend or business partner? If you wanna make it really really formal and official, you could say Qidai zai ci yu nin huitan! It's only used in business conversation. Quote
New Members caterpill Posted September 1, 2010 at 08:36 AM New Members Report Posted September 1, 2010 at 08:36 AM You can say "期待与您交谈" Quote
laowang Posted September 1, 2010 at 09:11 AM Report Posted September 1, 2010 at 09:11 AM 盼望和您面谈 Quote
Kenny同志 Posted September 1, 2010 at 09:29 AM Report Posted September 1, 2010 at 09:29 AM I suppose you intended to say you want to talk to him face to face. In that case, 望与您面谈, is appropriate. Otherwise, you might need to modify the sentence because the invention of the internet, phone, and other devices has diversified the definition of “talk”. Quote
