Ok so I'm just picking a temporary name for my Chinese class and think I have finally come up with one.

春青 - is this good? I like that it sounds like 纯情. Is this a fine Chinese name for a girl to have or will I sound silly.

Also if this is a good name can anyone suggest a surname to fit this name?

Ah I would not suggest you use 苗春青 (Edit - 春青 does not lead me to think about 純情, but it brings to mind the word 青春 (youth/young) and personally I find this cheesy). But I think 苗青青 (Miao Qingqing) would be a great name.

I also find 春青 reminds me of 青春, and it seems not quite right for a name, although I don't see anything particularly wrong with it either. Skylee's suggestion sounds nice.

You can try alternatives like 苗迎春 or 苗青 which sound like more mature names.

若雨 sounds much better though, you should go with that one. :)
