I have some basic questions.

How does one make adverbs in Chinese? For example:

He is happily married. (Can you say "Ta shi jiehun, ta shi

gaoxing." or "Ta shi gaoxing jiehun"???)

He answered sleepily.

BTW, how do you write "Have a nice day.", "checkout line", and "cash register" in Pinyin?

Xiexie ni.

hehe you just need put the adverb before the verb. and add a "地"between them.

like:

He is happily married. 他高兴地结婚了 Ta gaoxing de jiehun le.

he answered sleepily. 他困倦地回答 Ta kunjuan de huida.

others:

Have a nice day 祝你一天好心情 zhu ni yitian hao xinqing

checkout line 付款排队处 fukuan paidui chu

cash register 收银机 shouyinji

hehe my english is not that great, I am here to learn english. I hope it could work for you.
