chiuyan Posted September 10, 2010 at 03:41 PM Report Posted September 10, 2010 at 03:41 PM I live in France, and have access to French iTunes and American iTunes, which both carry a fair number of Chinese language songs these days, but not everything, and they do seem to only get new music after it has been released for a while. I know I can order CDs from sites like yesasia.com, but I really do not like purchasing physical albums anymore, I would rather just purchase them online. Are there any good Chinese/Taiwanese/Malaysian/etc sites for purchasing music online that can be used from outside those countries? Thanks. Quote
feihong Posted September 11, 2010 at 03:49 AM Report Posted September 11, 2010 at 03:49 AM Maybe this is off-topic, but is just downloading songs from Baidu not an option for you? Quote
roddy Posted September 11, 2010 at 05:57 AM Report Posted September 11, 2010 at 05:57 AM China's very much either download illegally, or listen online with advertising - the paid download market is . . . well, I'm not even sure it exists. Taiwan and so on - don't know, but even if the sites are there, distribution agreements may mean they can't sell to overseas. I'd just download it for free from the usual sources and if you feel guilty, send the artist a cheque. Quote
aristotle1990 Posted September 13, 2010 at 12:12 AM Report Posted September 13, 2010 at 12:12 AM I mean, the record companies release the music for free on Google Music (unfortunately, only accessible within China) -- when they're giving away the product, there's not going to a big market for buying that same product...
