Clarie Posted September 18, 2010 at 02:38 AM Report Posted September 18, 2010 at 02:38 AM Ok, so here goes. I'm trying to write a novel. But all the names I tried to come up with just plainly sucks. So, I kinda need some help! There are two main chinese characters in my story, and they are twins. One of the girls' name is 詩烨. But I want her sister's name to sounds soft, something that gave off the cool and tranquil feeling. But the first character of the names has to be 詩. So I was thinking something like, the poem of the mist or dewdrops or something like that, like 詩雪 or 詩月. But I want to hear more ideas. Can you help me with the combinations? Their names don't need to have similar sounds, though. I just want to capture the meaning, for the readers to understand the different vibe coming out from both of them. Quote
The guy from Beijing Posted September 18, 2010 at 06:26 AM Report Posted September 18, 2010 at 06:26 AM Since one of the twins has a fire, it would be more appropriate if the other has water in her name. For example, 诗澜or 诗漫 Anyway, that's my two cents. Never any good with names myself, so you don't have to take my advice Quote
