Premiership Football in Beijing

Hi,

I have spent a while in Tianjin but I am new in Beijing. I am living in the far south west of the city (corner of the 4th ring road - YiHai in Feng Tai). To those of you who have been here for a while, can you suggest any decent venues that show Premiership footy? It's Chelsea vs. Manchester City this weekend and it's a lunch time kick off making it 19.45 kick off here - well worth it. (I'm a city fan, for my sins).

Any venues in that part (south west) of Beijing or any throughout the city that you rate highly would be appreciated. I'm looking into night buses and subway closing times as it's too far/ expensive for a taxi.

It should be on 北京体育 tv station (the Man U vs Liverpool game was on it last week)furthermore if you are desperate for English commentary (it doesnt matter how good your chinese is its just not the same)just mute the TV then go on www.talksport.com and you can now listen online to their commentary. It synced perfectly with the TV pictures last week in the Man U game.

However, if you fancy a pub type vibe then Irish bar Paddy O'Shea's is pretty good for atmoshphere although a fair way from your neck of the woods.

Still waiting for the mighty Bristol City to make it onto Chinese TV...(could be a while)
