Where To Buy In-Ear Headphones?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on shops/locations that have a good variety and selection of good quality (Klipsh, Shure, Sennheiser, etc.) in-ear headphones?

Also, are there any shops that specialize in sound equipment? I'm looking for a 1/8" to 1/4" jack so that I can plug my MP3 device into a mixer.

I think virtually all music shops would have the 1/8 to 1/4, I got one for free at two different places already when buying something a bit more expensive.

As for the earphones, I got mine of a place in the suburbs that I found through Taobao, which is also what I suggest to you (Taobao, not necessarily the suburbs). Specialized shops in the city center, while appearing more reliable, usually will charge a hefty markup.

Where are the music shops that you've been to here in Beijing?

There's a lot of them on Gulou Dong Dajie, the street going east from the drum tower, and a while back I've also been on the street going south from Hepingmen. Somewhere around Xiaoxitian is another street with lots of music shops.
