i have looked online for awhile and have found nothing and some dead links.

Sina.com has a classifieds section, although there would be no pictures and you would be dealing directly with the people leasing most of the time, which might make you more vulnerable to run-around.

also, Wo Ai Wo Jia (as in I love my home) whose website is www. I don't know but you should google it. Ihave friends who have gone through them, adn seem satisfied.

If you are looking in English, most of what you will find is aimed at the higher end of the market. Places to try include

thatsbeijing.com classifeds - mostly agencies, probably the only place where you'll find English info on the cheaper places

www.wuwoo.com - I've used this before, and may do again soon.

http://www.5i5j.com/ - Wo Ai Wo Jia, as mentioned above - again, I also know people who've used them and been pleased.

Not sure you'll get pictures though.
