Gift giving

A warm hello x

I am travelling to Hong Kong in the next few days and, being a songwriter and artist, I was intending to take some copies of my CD's. What would be the best way to present them as a gift to the people I will be meeting over there? Do I need to wrap them or would it be acceptable to just gift a CD without wrapping?

Thanking you in advance,

Jay

Wrapping not needed. However, these may be perceived more as promotional items than as sincere gifts.

Each one is handmade...in fact it's all taken quite a lot of time and creativity to produce, so surely it would be seen as a gift? I could understand if it was just a plastic CD case but a lot of love has gone into making these and they aren't your average CD.

Thank you for your advice though- I will bear it in mind. x x

Chinese custom is not to open presents in front of the giver, so wrapped or unwrapped, don't be disappointed if folks don't take much of a look at the CDs and just set them aside with thanks.
