Tsunku Posted October 9, 2003 at 03:00 AM Report Posted October 9, 2003 at 03:00 AM man, that looks damn good. I wish I could cook better. Give me a wok and I can stir fry the hell outta it, but my skills are pretty much limited to that. Quote

skylee Posted October 9, 2003 at 01:31 PM Report Posted October 9, 2003 at 01:31 PM What a delightful post. I love all three dishes (but why is there red pepper in everyone?). Wish I could cook (I don't cook). Quote
Tsunku Posted October 9, 2003 at 01:47 PM Report Posted October 9, 2003 at 01:47 PM In Yunnan (most of the SW probably), red pepper gets added to everything. I cooked French toast for my boyfriend one morning and he put red pepper on it. Seriously. Practically every dish has red pepper, or green pepper, or something in it to make it spicy. If it's not spicy, then it's considered bland. Quote
