calamindos Posted October 16, 2010 at 06:31 AM Report Posted October 16, 2010 at 06:31 AM I was wondering how much you guys spend monthly on different utilities around China and what are your habits or tips to spend less/save more? This is what we usually pay in a single room apartment with two people in Beijing: 100rmb for electricity, 52rmb for water and 173rmb for 2MB internet. Quote
liuzhou Posted October 18, 2010 at 03:32 PM Report Posted October 18, 2010 at 03:32 PM Down here in Guangxi, in a three bed apartment (but only me) electricity is about the same - around a hundred a month. Water is cheaper - around ¥30. 2MB Internet is much cheaper. Just today someone from Telecom came to my home to offer me the service for ¥89 a month. I pointed out that I pay annually - ¥660 for a year (which I calculate at ¥55 per month). Disappointed salesman snuck off. Quote
