may be it is this? zhǎng = palm of a hand; surname Zhang

or this? ná (used for and ) = to take (something), to pick up, to hold

i can see the similarity but if you look at the top its not the same as "palm"

There is a difference between computer fonts and calligraphic writing. The character is 掌.
