ilprincipe Posted October 27, 2010 at 12:01 PM Author Report Share Posted October 27, 2010 at 12:01 PM hello, problem solved, at least partially. If anyone is interested, I am attaching an excel and text version of the latest CEDIT dictionary, with a couple of adjustments I made..mostly, converted tone numbers to tone marker (using Joe Tone Marker macro..thanks a lot) and I have added a further column which is pinyin without any tones..maybe useful to beginners to look for 'same pinyin-but different tones' words. the excel file has three workbook, as the size of each workbook is limited to 65,000 rows and the dictionary contains 138,000 entries. The txt file instead is all in one piece. I hope it will be useful to you. (hoops...files are too big to be uploaded to this forum). Perhaps the Moderator can suggest some alternative. thanks
