Taiwan accent

this two sounds are generally pronounced the same way by the people in taiwan and the people in mainland. "shi" in pinyin is usually pronounced like the sound "sh" prounced in english, the difference is like that when you pronounce "shi", pinyin, you throat should vibrate. the same thing, you shouldnot simply pronouced "si", pinyin, like how you pronounce "see" in english, it also should like "ssssssssss" and you should also feel your throat vibrating while you are pronoucing.
