There are plenty on Chinese history, language, culture etc., but I have not seen one on Chinese geography. Ideally, it should be a non-fiction, easy to read book that talks about different provinces and cities, their history, modern life, cultural differences, geographical features, plants and animals etc., has maps and photos, connects new knowledge to what I already learned (from history books). I am not looking for just a travel guide. Any suggestions? Thank you! Quote

Have in mind though that it is not very detailed and is more akin to a travel guide than a geography book. Quote
