tboasis7 Posted October 27, 2010 at 01:53 PM Report Posted October 27, 2010 at 01:53 PM Perhaps this question has been answered already, however the info is probably out of date. I wear a size 12-13 US shoe which is quite large in China....I can wear around a size 48 in Chinese sizes. I need to buy some decent winter shoes/boots preferably leather with a little style if that's possible. If anyone knows of anything in Beijing, it would be greatly appreciated as my feet are becoming quite cold in my current sneaks. Thanks ~贝太恩 Quote
daofeishi Posted October 28, 2010 at 12:45 AM Report Posted October 28, 2010 at 12:45 AM I and my size 47 feet have the same problem. My solution has been to buy Ecco shoes. There are several Ecco stores around, for example at 王府井/Wangfujing. Quote
New Members josh Posted October 28, 2010 at 02:23 AM New Members Report Posted October 28, 2010 at 02:23 AM I will suggest you to buy the shoes online, you can find the big shoes on taobao. Quote
skylee Posted October 28, 2010 at 02:26 AM Report Posted October 28, 2010 at 02:26 AM And if you have to buy Ecco shoes I think it is best to buy them in HK. It seems that there are ususally a lot of mainland tourist customers buying lots of shoes in HK Ecco shops. My conclusion is that they are cheap here. Quote
m000gle Posted October 28, 2010 at 06:56 AM Report Posted October 28, 2010 at 06:56 AM lol... I was actually planning to start a similar thread today when, low and behold, you beat me to it and its on the forum front page. I've had the exact same trouble trying to find shoes for my size 13/48 (US/EU) feet. Any department stores seem to only go up to size 10, and maybe 11 for some shoes, while a lot of smaller shops barely have that. My next step was to just head to the flagship stores in Sanlitun and pay a hefty premium for the shoes, if they even had the size. Other than Wangfujing and Taobao (which requires a bit more Chinese knowledge), has anyone found stores with larger sizes, or even possibly a hidden gem specializing in them? Quote

New Members djeyli Posted December 28, 2010 at 03:30 PM New Members Report Posted December 28, 2010 at 03:30 PM I am size 50 and always buy Timberland (fake ones!) at Silk Street Market. They are usually around RMB 100 a pair and last a couple months. They also have some other brands but they aren't really my taste. Quote
