Studying in January & February

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to spend my winter vacation studying Chinese somewhere full-time, but I'm not having an easy time finding programs that are actually affordable. I can't afford any of those private language schools in Beijing or Shanghai because I'm just an English teacher at a university here.

I would prefer to study in a university setting and it would be nice if I spent less than a thousand dollars in total on the program. I'm currently living and working in Zhengzhou, Henan, so the closer to where I already am, the better. However, I am willing to travel.

So does anybody know anything? I'm willing to go just about anywhere.
