Chinese Stampings on Gold Ring

Pincin A Loaf

Recommended Posts

My mom has a bit of chinese ancestry and she has a ring with two stampings.

They look a little worn, and I am unable to provide a proper translations as to what the characters actually mean.

I had to zoom significantly because the ring is small, but the I'm sure that it's just limited to karats or purity or even weight, but I'd like to hear what you guys think.

If this gets solved I can show you the ring, it looks pretty beat up though so don't expect it to be really beautiful!

The shape of the three-character group (the middle character is too worn out that all of its strokes have disappeard) looks like 金寶山 (treasure hill) to me. It is probably the name of the jewellery shop where it was sold (ie the brand). The other two characters are 千足, meaning it is pure gold.
