The normal form for Internet on the mainland is 互聯網/互联网/hu4lian2wang3. There is also 因特網/因特网/yin1te4wang3, which I think is mainly used in the spoken language.

Another form I've seen is 網際網絡/网际网络/wang3ji4wang3luo4, which I think is the standard name in Taiwan, and, possibly, in HK and Macau.

I'm sure the native speakers will be able to help you with the grammar of the composition.

Here in Taiwan, I always here people say 網路 for the net. Actually, if it's SPECIFICALLY the internet as opposed to an intranet (內部網) you could say 國際網路, but people almost always just say 網路.
