I am planning to go work in China next year so I'm really trying my best to learn as much as i can with the chinese language.

The public transportation of Beijing is well-developed as well, and there are sufficient numbers of buses in Beijing. In the past, there were two conductors for one bus. However, there are no longer any conductors on any bus. It is the bus driver that drives the bus and sells tickets. Taking the subway in Beijing is not only convenient but also time-saving, especially during the commuter time. You well never need to worry about traffic congestion. Mini-buses are available as well. Although the tickets of mini-buses are expensive, mini-buses can guarantee passengers with enough seats, and passengers can get on or off the mini-bus at anywhere and anytime. There are plenty of taxies in Beijing. Nowadays, many Chinese also use the word 'taxi', since the Chinese pronunciation of taxi is too long. Taking taxi is the most expensive while the most convenient.

These should be self-explanatory, except perhaps for 有的车上, which means "on some buses" and 贵一些, which means "a bit expensive."
