Is this correct translation? Does this make sense? I translated it myself and I just want someone who is fluent in mandarin to correct this for me.

Peter offers Meihua a lift home. As they walk to the car, she asks him why he doesn’t buy a car. Peter answered that having a car may be convenient but it involves spending a lot of money. Peter’s sister just bought a car for herself but she still catches the bus when she goes to the city for work. She said that there’s too much traffic especially during peak hour she goes to work and when she finishes.
